Community Support

Community support is very important to Wood Works of Tampa Bay and our sister company, Get Me Cabinets. We are blessed to be in a position to donate our products and resources to help build our community and support quality end-of-life care.

You can join us in many of our charitable activities by donating your time or resources.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat For Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties is a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity International.  It is a non-profit housing organization that relies on local financial and trade support to build homes and communities.

According to their website, “Habitat’s unique and sensible formula makes it possible for limited-income individuals and families to own a home they can afford. With volunteer labor, local donations of money, and some in-kind materials, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties builds houses with the help of the homeowner families." For more information, visit the Habitat for Humanity website.

Wood Works Tampa Bay is Proud to Support Habitat for Humanity.

Wood Works of Tampa Bay donates custom furniture to furnish Habitat for Humanity-built homes.

We work with partner families to design a piece of furniture they can use, build, and deliver it to their new home in time for the family’s move-in.

Suncoast Hospice

Suncoast Hospice is part of Empath Health, the largest non-profit healthcare system in the United States.  For over 40 years, Suncoast Hospice has been the only community hospice in Pinellas County.

According to their website, they provide “non-acute care and services through its skilled, medical and holistic programs to individuals with chronic, advanced and terminal illnesses or experiencing grief throughout North Central, West Central, and Southwest Florida.”  For more information, visit the Suncoast Hospice website.

Wood Works Tampa Bay supports Suncoast Hospice in a variety of ways.

We participate in the annual Hospice holiday food drive.  In 2023, with the support of our customers and friends, we raised over $500 in nonperishable food and supermarket gift cards.

We will donate a full set of furniture to the 22nd Annual Suncoast Hospice Gala on February 17, 2024.

We will also donate items to the 30th Annual Suncoast Hospice Fashion Show, Luncheon &
Boutique
at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club's Edinburgh Hall on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Once again, we will field a team to take part in the Suncoast Hospice Beach Stroll on May 4, 2024. Join us for the walk or donate to our team, Helen’s Crew, by visiting our Beach Stroll page.
