Wood Works Tampa Bay makes solid wood furniture and gifts. We make custom furniture to your design and materials specifications. These are one-of-a-kind statement pieces for your home and office. We also offer a Signature Line of Tables featuring Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian Modern design. This collection includes coffee tables, side tables, and console tables. Each comes in materials and finish options and available for immediate shipping.  Our gift items for the home and office can be personalized to make them memorable. Best of all, they can be shipped directly to your recipient, saving you time.

Each piece is hand-crafted from hardwood trees living in old-growth forests and designed for beauty and function. We have a team of master craftsmen working in our professional, state-of-the-art woodshop in Clearwater, Florida.  Each team member has been building furniture for decades, and we have a combined 100+ years of experience.

Woodworking Classes

Woodworks Tampa Bay occasionally offers classes in woodworking. Each class is taught live in our woodshop over the course of one or two full days.  Classes combine classroom-style learning with hands-on experience using our professional tools.  When the class is complete, students leave with a greater understanding of wood, skills in the basics of how furniture is made, and a finished project they created themselves.  For more information on our upcoming classes, visit our Classes page.

Rent our Shop

Experienced woodworkers can rent shop time by the hour.  You will get an all-access pass to our professional wood shop and all our state-of-the-art professional equipment and tools needed for large and small-scale projects.  We use equipment made by Grizzly, Makita, Bosch, Dewalt, Ryobi, and Campbell & Hausfeld.  For a detailed list of current major equipment and tools available, visit our Equipment and Tools Page.

 

Our shop time rate is $75 per hour and is scheduled in one-hour increments. Customers can bring their own materials and supplies or
purchase them from Wood Works of Tampa Bay.  Materials, supplies, instruction, and consultation are priced separately.  All persons using equipment and tools during shop time rental sessions are required to provide a photo ID
and sign a liability waiver.
